I'm Lillie, and I've always believed the right piece of furniture can completely change how a room and a home feels.
It was during my time living in London that I first fell in love with upholstery, drawn in by the craft, the fabric, the texture, and the way a beautifully made piece could anchor a space.
Back in New Zealand, I wanted to keep making the kind of pieces I'd fallen in love with overseas. Shapes with personality, fabrics worth deliberating over.
Esther Mae Spaces grew from that. Named after my middle names, every piece is handcrafted collaboratively — from frame building, fabric selection and sizing through to your overall vision for your furniture within a space.

I source through trade houses and small mills I trust, so each piece arrives in fabric that suits the room. You're equally welcome to bring your own.
